You can join the Era Community to keep up to date on playtests I'm organizing in that an other G+ communities.

February this year marks the first year of work on the Era rules. What started as a combat mechanism hack and house rules has come to be a complete game. I'm really excited how things are turning out. This will be a month of updates and lots of blog posts showing the system at work.

Recent conclusions I've arrived at:
- classes are necessary for commercial purposes, it helps the non geek to get into play quickly
- you can't make a balanced game solely based on classes
- you can't make a balanced game solely based on point-buys
- you can make a balanced game session
- Gödel's theorem is a bitch

As you can guess I've been enjoying my new game design hobby.
